Infamous drug trafficker Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, who was convicted in 2019 and sentenced to life in prison following a trial in New York, has pleaded to speak with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador over "cruel and unfair" treatment in U.S. prisons and request an extradition.
